The raccoon defecated all over the place, tore apart insulation, and ripped down some of the exterior drywall.

There is a number of diseases that raccoons carry, most infamous is Raccoon Roundworm (Baylisascaris procyonis). We needed to remove everything carefully.

So we carefully removed all the contaminated materials in the attic space.

And then disinfected the area.

Now that the attic area has been cleaned and disinfected, the homeowner can resume with his renovations.
