Came from a Delivery
The homeowner had an immaculate home and it was spotless from top to bottom. She was confused as to why she had a cockroach infestation. Well, turns out that she had several items delivered to her home. Harboring in the crevices of the packages were a number of cockroaches, and once they were brought into the home, they decided to infest the cracks and corners of the kitchen!
Intensive Treatment
Not only did we find adult cockroaches and their nymphs throughout the kitchen, but their eggs too! We advised the owner to throw away every single infested perishable item, to which she agreed. Once she finished, we treated the cracks, corners, and crevices of the pantries and the entire kitchen with a residual application that's combined with an EPA registered insect growth regulator. This application affects the reproductive system of the cockroaches, which prevents them from reaching adulthood.
Flush Them Out
Afterward, we applied a knockdown aerosol product to every single crack, crevice, appliance, and baseboard throughout the kitchen and, at the owners' request, the entire home. This application will flush the cockroaches out of hiding, into the growth regulator, and rapidly exterminate them.
Monitoring the Cockroaches
Once that was finished, we installed several monitoring devices throughout the kitchen (and the two adjacent rooms) and scheduled several follow-up inspections to monitor the cockroach infestation and, if required, apply any additional treatments.
