A Bunch of Boxelder Bugs
As you can tell, there was quite a large infestation of boxelder bugs all over the front entrance of her home.
Where the Sunny Side Is
The boxelder bugs were congregating around that area, because that's where the sunny side is! Boxelder bugs are black insects with reddish-orange markings on their backs. Boxelder bugs aren't dangerous, but they can be a huge nuisance. They can invade homes in the winter in very large numbers and can leave nasty stains on carpets when they are squashed. They also are known to release a foul smell if they feel threatened.
Rapid Takedown of the Boxelder Bugs
For treatment, we applied a knockdown aerosol product to all the gaps around the home. This treatment will rapidly exterminate the boxelder bugs.
Last Step of Treatment
Next, we treated the surrounding areas with a liquid residual application. The boxelder bugs will come in contact with the liquid treatment as they go about their normal routines. A short while later, they will be eliminated.
