Hornets Nest Hidden Well
As we were treating the landscape, we came across a basketball sized bald-faced hornets nest in one of trees.
Had No Idea
The homeowner had no idea that the nest was even there and it's good thing we found it because the owner is HIGHLY allergic to bee stings. Bald-faced hornets are extremely aggressive and territorial. They will attack and sting anything that comes close to their nest.
Two Treatments for the Bald-Faced Hornets
We injected a knockdown aerosol and a knockdown liquid application directly into the nest. Both of these treatments rapidly exterminate the bald-faced hornets.
Hornets are Gone
A short while later, we removed the nest and disposed of it properly.
