Pests We Treat Photo Album: Bald-Faced Hornets Hanging Low in Eatontown, NJ
We were sent out to one of Cowleys commercial accounts to remove an active bald-faced hornets' nest.
Low Hanging Fruit
It looks like the bald-faced hornets' nest is on the ground when in actuality, it is about 4 inches from the ground.
Large Amount of Angry Stingers
Judging by the size of this nest, there are hundreds of angry, territorial stinging insects inside waiting to attack anything that comes within close proximity to their nest!
Soak it
Using a liquid knockdown application, we applied the product directly in the entry of the nest. This immobilizes the majority of the hornets inside. Another aerosol product is then injected into the nest to finish exterminating the bald-faced hornets.
Nest Taken Down
We then removed the nest and the branch it was attached to and disposed of them properly.
