Pests We Treat Photo Album: Business in Ocean Township, NJ Has Ants
A property manager of a retirement community in Ocean Township, NJ, was suffering from an ant infestation in the community room of the main building.
Checked the Exterior
We bean inspecting the community room and found a trail of ants in the corner of the room. We decided to inspect the exterior and discovered a large number of ants all over the side of the building.
A Tiny Crack
Turns out the ants were able infest the interior of the building through a tiny crack in the exterior foundation.
Close it Up
We sealed the opening with a premium waterproof adhesive...
Treat the Exterior
... and then applied a liquid non-repellant along the foundation and around all the windows and doors. With the property managers permission, we also treated the cracks, crevices, and baseboards of the community room.
Transfer Effect
The ants will come in contact with this treatment, return to their colony, and spread the treatments throughout their colony by feeding or grooming one another. This is called the transfer effect.
