This home in Colts Neck, NJ had a massive infestation of ants.

All Over the Living Room

As soon as we began our inspection, we found several large gatherings of ants throughout the living room.

Follow the Ant Trail

The main infestation was located on the fireplace. They were all over the side, top, and bottom of the fireplace. To locate their nest, we followed their trail...

Wide Gap

To a large crevice between the base molding and the molding going around the fireplace on the bottom right. This was where the source of the infestation was coming from.

Aerosol Treatment for Ants

We injected an aerosol application (which will rapidly exterminate the ants) directly into this gap, the cracks around the fireplace, and in the cracks and crevices throughout the family room.

To the Basement

We then went into the basement and treated all the sill plates, underneath the fireplace, and behind the insulation with the aerosol product.

Now for the Residual

Lastly, at the owner's request, we treated the baseboard, cracks, and crevices throughout the basement, the family room, dining room, and along the entire exterior of the home with a liquid residual.

Elimination of the Ant Colony

The ants will come in contact with this treatment and transfer it throughout their entire colony. In no time at all, the ants will be neutralized. We're going to return for a follow-up visit to monitor the ant infestation and seal that gap in the molding.
