We had a new customer in Old Bridge, NJ call our office for a drain fly issue in her bathroom.

When I inspected the bathroom, I saw a cluster of flies in the shower.

Upon closer inspection, I was able to identify them as drain flies.

Hardly Used and Rarely Cleaned

When I informed the homeowner, she told me that no one uses this shower anymore and she hasn't cleaned it in quite some time. When the water in a drain stands for a long time, it creates the perfect home for drain flies because they LOVE to breed in drains that has been contaminated with sewage.

Remove the Bad Bacteria

First, I applied a liquid application that removes the bad bacteria from the drain, which is the breeding ground for the drain flies.

Scrub-A-Dub-Dub

I then scrubbed out the drain and applied a bio foam product.

Drain Flies Exterminated

This product eliminates all fly-attracting odors in the drain. I informed the owner that, in order to prevent future drain fly infestations, she will need to clean the drain on a regular basis.
