Pests We Treat Photo Album: Foraging Ant Trail Uncovered in Point Pleasant, NJ

During a scheduled service for a Home Protection Plan customer of ours in Point Pleasant, NJ, I came across a trail of ants.

Found Some Ants

As I was treating the exterior, I saw a number of ants behind a small plant and followed their trail.

Trailing Alone

Their trail lead to the right side of the home...

Through a Tiny Gap

Where they were able to enter the interior of the home through a tiny gap!

Asked the Homeowner

I informed the homeowner, and with her permission, I treated the interior of the home with a liquid residual.

Treated Their Access Point

Next, I injected the gap with a residual dust. I also treated the entire exterior with another liquid residual.

Exterminated

When the ants go in and out of that opening, they'll come in contact with the treatment and spread it throughout their nest. In a short amount of time, the entire colony is exterminated.
