Pests We Treat Photo Album: Ants in Our Bait Station in Wall, NJ
While inspecting the rodent bait stations at one of our commercial accounts in Wall, NJ, I came across a small ant colony inside one of the stations.
Opened Up a Surprise
When I opened up one the stations to replenish the bait, I was surprised to see a hefty amount of ants and their eggs throughout the bait station.
They Ran Off
As I opened the lid, the ants felt threatened, picked up their eggs, and ran in an attempt to relocate the nest.
Gave Them Some Food
As they scurried down off the bait station and onto the ground, I placed granular ant bait in the middle of their trail. They will pick this bait up and bring it with them down into the nest, eventually exterminating the entire colony.
Another Treatment
I replaced the bait station and treated the entire perimeter of the building with a liquid residual as a precaution to prevent any pest intrusions.
