Pests We Treat Photo Album: Gutter Filled with Carpenter Bees in Wall Township, NJ
We went out for a service call for a homeowner in Wall Township, NJ who was having an issue with carpenter bees.
Way Up in the Gutters
The homeowner mentioned that he was seeing carpenter bees near the gutter and roof area.
1/2 Inch Drill Holes
Once we inspected, we found several carpenter bees hovering around the area and their drill holes. Carpenter bees will drill perfectly circular 1/2 inch holes into a wooden structure to form smooth galleries to nest in.
If Left Untreated
If the infestation isn't immediately handled properly then serious damage can occur, such as wood rot. Additionally, a different carpenter bee can reuse that same hole the following year and cause further damage to your home.
How Cowleys Handles Carpenter Bees
We treated each hole with a direct-contact dust residual. This residual directly targets the carpenter bees and eliminates them almost immediately.
Carpenter Bees are Neutralized
Additionally, the treatment will eliminate any returning and newly-hatched carpenter bees leaving the gallery.
