Pests We Treat Photo Album: Prep Sheet for Bed Bug Treatment
In order to receive positive results after your bed bug treatment, it is imperative that you make proper preparations in advance of your service. Prior to your treatment, you'll receive a “prep sheet” detailing what is required.
What NOT to Do
First, do not remove the bedding, any furniture or wall hangings prior to treatment. Doing so could result in spreading the bed bugs to other areas of the home. We'll properly remove and bag the bedding for laundering.
Reduce the Clutter
Very carefully clear off the nightstands and/or drawers and then place all the items in a sealed, plastic container or a plastic bag and place the items in the garage or on a tiled floor.
Check the Clothing
Any clothing that is stored within
3 feet of the bed, or infested areas, must be removed for laundering. Place all items in a disposable bag and then wash and dry the clothing on the highest heat setting.
Fragile Items
Any fragile items on furnishings must be placed in sealed containers for protection. Following these tips as well as advice from the technician will guarantee you have successful results.
