Causing Some Serious Headaches
Beginning our inspection we noticed that the parking garage had bird feces all over the floor. Turns out the birds were roosting on the beams and defecating all over the floor and on the vehicles.
Costing Them Money and Their Health
This was not only costing the owner a ton of money in damages to the vehicles, but also presenting a health hazard to everyone inside the garage. Not only are the bird droppings a slip, trip, and fall hazard but it contains histoplasmosis, a respiratory disease that may be fatal. It results from a fungus growing in dried bird droppings.
Set Up the Net
First, we removed all the vehicles in the garage and then set up a bird netting. The bird netting removes their landing areas. The birds will fly in, realize they cannot land or roost anywhere, and then fly back out.
Make it Accessible
When installing the bird netting, we made sure to place zippers on the net where the lights are. That way the bulbs can be replaced with ease. After the bird netting was successfully installed, we completely sanitized the garage.
