Mice Prevention in Morristown, NJ
Challenge
During the colder months, some unwanted guests will try and enter your home, condo, apartment, or business. Today, our journey took us to one of the many Communities we provide services to in Morristown, NJ. What pest issue were they having? Mice were taking up residency in one of the apartments!
When we service a community, we inspect the exterior of each building and look for harborage areas, possible entry points, and landscaping issues. We report any concerns directly to the property manager. In this case, there were several large gaps around the utility pipes.
Solution
First, we carefully cleaned up the droppings of the rodents and installed several rodent bait stations throughout the interior and exterior of the building. Next, we stuffed all potential gaps and openings around the utility pipes with chew-proof stainless steel mesh and sealed them in place with a water-proof, premium adhesive. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and replace the bait in the bait stations.
The residents will sleep easy in knowing that these disease-ridden pests will not be at their dinner table anytime soon.
