Mice Chew the Waterline in Woodbridge, NJ
Challenge
We were sent out to a new customers home in Woodbridge, NJ to handle a rodent infestation. The homeowner reported seeing some rodent droppings in the kitchen, so that's where we inspected. During our investigation, we found a lot of mice droppings around the dishwasher and the oven. So, with the owner's permission, we moved the oven and found a massive buildup of mice droppings behind it! When we took a closer look, we discovered a gap around the gas line. This was how the mice were getting inside!
Continuing our inspection to the dishwasher, we noticed that there water pooling underneath the area. Turns out that the mice had chewed right into the waterline of the dishwasher!
Solution
After we carefully cleaned up the mice droppings behind the oven, we installed a number of rodent bait stations in the kitchen and around the exterior of the home. Next, we scheduled a number of follow-up visits with the owner to replenish the bait stations and to close up all the openings inside and outside of the home that the mice are using to infest the property.
