Found a Spider in Our Rodent Bait Stations in Millstone, NJ
Challenge
We're at this commercial building in Millstone, NJ, to replenish the bait in our rodent bait stations. As we were checking on the bait in one station, we were shocked to find a spider inside of it! This is why extreme care is needed when monitoring and checking on the bait stations, you never know what will be inside!
Solution
We treated the spider with an application that is specifically labeled to eliminate spiders. This treatment will rapidly exterminate the spider. We then removed the bait stations and replaced it with a new one. As a precaution, we grabbed our spider broom and started to brush away any spider webs that we found around the building. This eliminates their food source and, after a little while, the spiders will get annoyed and leave the area. Lastly, as another precaution, we're going to treat the entire exterior of the commercial building with a residual application.
