Ants by the Back Porch Get Baited in Holmdel, NJ
Challenge
As we were servicing this home in Holmdel, NJ, we found a ton of black ants by the back porch. To find out where they were coming from, we followed their trail, which lead to a nearby shrub in the mulch bed.
Solution
First, we treated the mulch bed and all the grassy areas with a granular bait. Afterward, we treated the exterior perimeter of the home with a liquid non-repellent residual. Lastly, we applied an ant gel bait directly to the ant trails on the back porch. The worker ants will come in contact with any of these products, return to their colony, and then transfer the treatments throughout their nest.
They'll do this by feeding one another, grooming one another, or eating their own dead. In a short amount of time, the ants will be exterminated.
