Yellow Jackets Nest in Chimney Cracks in Plainsboro, NJ
Challenge
A new Home Protection Plan customer in Plainsboro, NJ reached out to Cowleys stating that there were yellow jackets flying around her sons bedroom, so we were sent out to inspect and treat. Before we began inspecting the interior of the home we spotted a number of yellow jackets flying around the chimney. We equipped our protective bee suit, grabbed our ladder, and examined the area. That's when we noticed that the cement grout was missing in four spots of the chimney. This was how the yellow jackets were able to infest the home.
Solution
Using a knockdown dusting application, we injected it into the cracks in the chimney. This treatment rapidly exterminates the yellow jackets. Once they're gone, the homeowner will contact a professional to repair the cracks in the chimney.
