Ants Trailing Along the Back in Freehold, NJ
Challenge
Recently, we were sent out on a service call for a new customer in Freehold, NJ to handle an ant issue around the home. During our inspection, we noticed a large number of ants on the side of the home trailing all the way to the back door! Turns out, the ants were harboring in the leaf litter that was piling around the home. Fortunately, none of the ants made it inside the home. We informed the homeowner who immediately contacted her landscaper to remove the leaf litter. In the meantime, we went to work!
Solution
We treated the ant trails and the entire exterior of the home with a non-repellant residual. Then we treated the landscape areas with a granular bait! The ants will come in contact with either of these products, return to their nest, and transfer the treatments among one another. A short while later, the ant colony is exterminated.
