As our Contracting team was performing a mold remediation job at home in Princeton Junction, NJ, they found something interesting in the wall — a bees nest! Fortunately, the nest was no longer active, but as we continued removing the contaminated sheetrock and insulation, we discovered a large hornets nest! And this nest was active and full of angry, stinging insects.
Solution
We equipped our protective bee suits and treated the nest with a knockdown aerosol application and then a knockdown liquid product. Both of these treatments will rapidly exterminate the hornets. After a short while, we removed the nest and properly disposed of it. Now our Contracting crew can continue their mold remediation process.
