We were sent out on a service call for a new customer in Metuchen, NJ who found several mice in her kitchen. As we began investigating the area, we noticed that the mouse droppings were trailing underneath the stove. We moved it and found even more mouse droppings and two chewed out holes.
Solution
We carefully cleaned up the droppings, stuffed each opening with chew-proof metal mesh, and then sealed them with a waterproof adhesive. Next, we installed several rodent bait stations in the kitchen, along the exterior of the home, and in the basement directly under the stove. Lastly, we scheduled several follow up visits to replenish the bait stations until the mice are no longer present in the home.
