Double Termite Treatments in Bound Brook, NJ
Challenge
A property manager of a community building in Bound Brook, NJ spotted some termite swarmers in one of his empty units and immediately called Cowleys for help.
When I arrived, I inspected the area where the termites were found. Fortunately, there wasn't much damage to the area, but if the termite infestation isn't immediately addressed, then there will be! I spoke to the property manager who wanted each one of his units treated for termites. The best treatment option is to treat the entire property with our liquid termiticide and install Sentricon baiting systems around the entire community.
Solution
First, I drilled into the concrete and injected the termiticide into the soil. This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect. Once the termites come in contact with this product, they'll transfer it to other termites in the colony, ensuring rapid elimination.
Lastly, I installed a Sentricon termite baiting system around the entire community. The termites will eat the cellulose material inside the baiting system, or share it with the others, and ingest an insect growth inhibitor, which prevents them from being able to molt. Thanks to both of these treatments, this communiity is protected from any current and future termite infestations for years to come.
